Alvin

Little Alvin is full of fun, and he loves to play with his pal, Silver. Silver, a bit older than
Alvin, has been anxious to befriend Alvin ever since the day efforts began to introduce
Alvin to the Ngamba Island chimpanzee community (May 2025).

Alvin’s mother is Sophie, and she has been a resident of Ngamba Island since 1986.
She was rescued from the illegal pet trade. Alvin was born on October 22, 2024.
