Sara – The Diva
Sara is a small female who arrived at Ngamba Island Sanctuary in 2012 at the age of two. Despite being relatively low-ranking, Sara has earned the reputation of being quite the diva, throwing loud screaming fits when she doesn’t get what she wants. It usually works. When it doesn’t she runs to her surrogate mother, Connie, for protection. She was originally rescued in very poor health from a black market animal trader in South Sudan and spent a year in quarantine before moving to Ngamba. She is now a healthy, thriving member of the group and would absolutely love it if you fed her ego, her popularity and her stomach by adopting her!
